This wasn't a bad book, but I've already decided that these stories will never flow the way I think.
Mozart meets Summer while on the hunt for the serial killer that killed is little sister 15 yrs ago.
I enjoyed the story, but absolutely hated the violent scenes. We didn't even get this graffiti with Fiona and her issues in the previous book. I don't like reading rape and assault scenes and was disturbed to find those here. It can be implied or talked around with going into detail.
Now, this story isn't a suspense book, but there were just some parts that had me twisting my lips..Mozart is searching for a serial killer in the area he meets Summer..after they get together , he doesn't tell her this? He doesn't share that this person could be in the area and since he's sooooo concerned about her, he doesn't give her a heads up? The serial killer knows who Mozart is and what he looks like..up, how? Again, a woman who doesn't follow her instincts, but in this case Summer has no common sense? Summer is a professional woman with an HR degree..how she got cleaning motel rooms in the middle of nowhere due to job loss and a divorce is a little beyond my comprehension.
Again, we have sex as an important factor after a traumatic, violent sexual assault..a little far fetched in my mind.
I guve the books good reviews because I'm enjoying them for the entertainment. I'm not expecting perfect storytelling or the most realistic of situations, especially given all the men are Seals. These books are for Alpha enjoyment with a little sexy and little fun..read on if you're interested in passing time. I'm on to Book 5.
