This is the first I've read by this author, and I absolutely loved it! I'm always a fan of alpha cops, but Vin just left me drooling. I wasn't picking up sexiness so much from the spankings in this story, but rather a troubled girl who was trying to come to terms with the men in her life always wanting to spank her. She comes to understand her brother and Vin better in the end, but I wish there were either another chapter or that there is a planned sequel, because I strongly feel that there is more to this story. I need to know what happens next with her health, and I really want to see their HEA which is just hinted at but not shown. The characters are just so well written, I was sucked into their world, and I wasn't ready to leave just yet.

The chemistry between Vin and Charlie was amazing from the first day they met. You felt like you were involved in the story and it was easy reading - could not stop reading. The spankings first by Alex her brother and then by Vin just proved how much they loved her and wanted to protect her - sometimes from herself. Vin is super sexy and wants to be with Charlie no matter what - he knows how to handle a liar - but is also very supportive and will always be there for her. Vin is the guy every girl is looking for.
