5.0 out of 5 stars If you've hit a plateau growing your show or if you're a beginner starting out, THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU

As a podcaster of almost three years now, it gets frustrating when you can't get the listeners that you want. You try posting more, improving quality and god forbid... *shudders* actually BUYING ADVERTISING. With this book, Easley explains the key to real success. Don't focus on yourself. Focus on others. Focus on the community you have already and focus on podcasters that you want to work with.

Throughout the book, Jared not only shows you the various ways how to interact and build rapport, he even implements his own techniques IN THE BOOK ITSELF by asking the reader to reach out to him and respond via his website/Twitter/etc. He's not just talking the talk, he's walking the walk. (Which by the way, Jared, if you'd like to talk more about this or perhaps have me on a podcast, reach out to me on Twitter @Scottyemo. Just sayin) This book is just the beginning of building an empire, an army that you can call you're own.

If you're stuck in a rut or just starting out your career in podcasting, this book is a MUST-READ.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not just for podcasters

Wow! What a great read. I've had the privilege to follow and work with Jared and I can tell you that he holds nothing back in this book. This book outlines the exact strategy he applies which he generously provides to us with an abundance mentality.

While the title and content is geared towards podcasters, the material is so well thought out, that the lessons and strategies within can be applied to anyone, in any discipline and in any career. What Jared has really provided us is the key to joining the 3% (you'll have to read the book to understand) and the recipe for our future success.

If the diligent truly prosper, following the advice in this book will most certainly allow you to "outlast the lucky and outwork the lazy". Buy the book. Apply the principles. You'll never regret it.

I met Jared a year ago while taking the Podcasting A to Z course. Jared took some time out of his busy schedule to connect with me and gave me some valuable advice on how to launch my podcast with a bang! He is so generous and alway leads with value first. I had the pleasure of interviewing him on my podcast where he shared valuable insights of how he launched Podcast Movement. Of course when he shared that he released this book I bought it that day. It's an easy read and I finished it in an hour or so. The book has so many valuable nuggets and takeaways. The strategies of building relationships, caring about people and offering value truly works. Podcasting no doubt has been a powerful communication and relationship building tool. If you're launching an online business or podcast you must read this book. I Highly Recommend it. ~ Anthony Tran

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful strategies to grow your podcast

Jared Easley has done an excellent job of putting together solid strategies to grow your podcast and online presence. Although I agree with some of the other reviewers that this book is a 'fun' read, the strategies, if you implement them, are powerful.

What I love about this book the most is that it focuses on the one thing that seems to be deteriorating in modern business - relationships with people. Not networking. Not shaking hands and exchanging business cards. Not making insincere compliments so you can get something from someone. Not saying 'we should get together and do such and such' and never following through.

No, it's about making true, authentic connections with people who are like-minded. If you implement Jared's suggestions, you'll not only grow your business - you'll also make some great friends along the way. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed Jared's first book.

Listening to Jared's podcast from the beginning I have admired his ability to draw out the best from his guests.
In Podcasting Good to Great, Jared lets us in on how he gets his guests to share the best stories with us.

The techniques for engaging with your audience, even meeting new people, can be applied to every situation. If you are shy or nervous about networking or attending events, you will find lots of great tips that will help you gain confidence in social situations.

If you have not yet listened to "Starve The Doubts" podcast, you are in for a real treat. Hurry, you have a lot of catching up to do :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great toolbox for authentically growing your audience regardless of medium

As a newbie entrepreneur and podcast host I was looking for skills to add to my toolbox and reassurance I was headed in a positive direction. I was captivated by this book because of how simple the strategies were laid out to collaborate and authentically grow an audience. Be the noticer. Build the army. Create rapport. Share the spotlight. Those are just a few of the strategies shared. There are many more covered along with how they worked for Jared along his journey. This book is not just for podcasters. It offers so many tips, resources and strategies that apply to all mediums regardless if you are a YouTuber, Blogger or Podcaster.

I’m grateful I found this book and I will use it as a working manual as I notice, build and collaborate with my future audience. Thank you Jared Easley.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great resource if you want to watch your podcast audience grow. Highly recommended.

As relative newbies to the world of podcasting we have been thrilled to enjoy initial success with our own podcast (The Changeability Podcast) reaching number 1 in the UK in iTunes New and Noteworthy (in 4 categories) and have been looking for a book to capitalise on that success and take it to the next level. Jared’s book does just that. His book speaks from his own runaway success experience, born of hard work, persistence and a determination to succeed in this area – coupled with his own immensely likeable and sincere podcasting style demonstrated in his show ‘Starve the Doubts’. Packed with actionable tips learnt through his own journey he offers real concrete advice that if followed will bring and increase your own genuine, committed followers. At the heart of that expansion we learn the value of collaboration, albeit through strategically aligning yourself with fellow podcasters in your field or through the power of co-hosting. In the end it boils down to sincere and authentic connections with your audience and fellow podcasters/bloggers in your niche. Jared’s own show delivers that and his book teaches and show you that value. A great resource if you want to watch your podcast audience grow. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed reading this. Picked it up in preparation for the UK Podcasters conference in Birmingham on 16th August 2014 (ukpodcasters.com).

Full of useful info and tips, some appropriate to my non-business podcast Virtual Pizza, some not. But those that weren't directly appropriate could easily be adapted.

Excellent value and Jared's writing style is easy to follow. I now consider myself a '3-percenter'!

The timing of this release was perfect. Just as I was boarding a 3 1/2 hour flight I saw it. I connected my iPad to my hot spot, purchased and downloaded it. I decided to bust in to the stories and finished it before landing -- and I'm a slow reader. The examples used and wealth of knowledge I gleaned were perfect. In fact there are things that I've already begun to implement in thinking about with upcoming projects. The writers' first-hand account and experience with co-hosted shows lends itself to speak as an authority on collaboration. I would definitely recommend this for your library. The only drawback to reading it on a plane is that that the extra bonus features wouldn't work due to connectivity. I guess I'll just read it again :)

This book is jam packed with value!!!
From the sincere opening of this being Jared's first book, to the closing sentence which offers yet another resource in the form of "Free Bonuses", I can happily say I got my investments worth and MORE!
I'm sure I'll be accessing this treat of a book many times as it now occupies the top shelf in my resource library of, "how to's".
Jared Easley's generosity of self shines through the pages like a welcome beam of acknowledgement in the all too often self centered world of business.
Well done Mr. Easley and Thank-you - I look forward to your next book!
