Gives the reader a clear unfiltered picture of an elusive and mostly misunderstood group. The tactics and operations discussed in the text should be discussed and considered at the highest levels of our government. This book is nothing less than a basic blueprint of how to fight and defeat ISIS. The book should be required reading for all true students of the modern "War on Terrorism."
Well written. Difficult layers of minutiae peeled away in swift progression toward one goal: understanding ISIS. We americans don't always have hours in the day to read about such topics; however, I can say, The ISIS Solution gets right to the point- will not waste your time.
Well written and presents a logical argument for dealing with ISIS. I tend toward Teddy Roosevelt's Big Stick model. The underlying basis for Islam is the domination of all other religions so anyone who thinks appeasement will work read your history specifically Hitler and Chamberlain.
This book does a great job of describing the foundation of ISIS, the organisation and operational structure as well as suggest solutions militarily and post militarily. Some things have changed since its writing but the book its still right on with the observation the U.S. will have deal with ISIS sooner or later.
This is a good book and easy to read. More Americans need to read this book, to get a better understanding of what ISIS is and about. Before you can defeat your enemy you need to understand your enemy. This book will help you understand ISIS.
For a relatively new and little known subject this book helps to enlighten the reader as to what we are up against with ISIS. As hated as they are we must respect the fact that they are a true and formidable nemesis.
Unique perspective and ideas. Doubtful that those influencing the Republican and Democratic parties will break free of their 35 year fixation with the Bushes and Clintons to seriously consider doing anything in the middle east other than the status quo.
Very informative, a lot of research went into this book. I now have a better understanding of the genesis of ISIS and groups like them. Interesting ideas on how to combat them militarily and through other political means.
