Firstly let me say this...I absolutely love the title of this book, as well as the book cover...just wanted to acknowledge that! :) Secondly, I truly enjoyed the book overall. Although, I must admit, Sheridyn was getting on my everlasting nerves, running in behind Sterling's trifling behind, as if he were the only man on earth. At some point I wanted to choke her, or just slap some doggone sense into her! Ugh, she had me shaking my head, and talking trash, almost the entire time, as I read. Oh, and don't even let me get started on Sterling...I could not stand Sterling's ways, he was just plain ol' pathetic to me! Although the dynamic of their relationship was sad, it definitely rang true. Regardless, it still got a rise out of me, because I can't stand to see a woman, playing the fool (And being in denial) for a man who clearly doesn't want her!
There were a few minor things left to be desired in making the story more enjoyable for me personally , but I think the author did an incredible job, presenting the story, in a very real way. I wasn't sure how the book was going to end up, and I was a bit apprehensive about it at first, but the author did an amazing job wrapping the story up. In fact, it was my favorite part of the book...now isn't that something! :) Great Job, Deondreia Cantrice
