While the plot is quite reasonable, the story is built upon some rather far-fetched possibilities, especially regarding the maturity and professional ability of the heroine. It is however easy to read and the use of the Kennedy era as a background does provide some interest. It's the sort of trashy novel one reads during a relaxing holiday.
Enjoyed the book, until the last part, it was disappointing and seemed that the author just wanted to end it. the idea that with all the caution, nobody would have checked on the reporter. Did not make sense.
Disappointed with this book. Chose it because I was interested in the characters of that time and in the way they lived their lives. I found it superficial in its character representations. Flow of English was lacking in descriptive ability.
Very disappointed in this book. Was lead to believe the Kennedy family was going to be play a major part in the storyline. This was certainly not the case. I would not recommend this book to anyone. It was just plain boring!
