When a Lora Leigh book is on it is wonderful.....not so much for this one. Where are the editors for an author of this caliber?
It bothers me that Indie authors get a bad rap for this, when this authors story bounces like a Ping pong ball and made me crazy trying to read it

We are led to believe our hero is too stupid to believe to use contraception with a 17 year old virgin. This man who is military, special ops and been around didn't think of consequences.

Our heroine just stays with a man, who continually beats her to save the man she loves is also too stupid to live.

At one point I am reading their daughter was dressed in black tights, a sweater and furry boots and a few lines later she ground her toes of her sneaker on the floor.

Wished there was more story line. So many pages of sex. After a while just flipped through all those pages to get to back story or present story line. Her pages of sex are good but I got bogged down. Liked the book but needed more interaction between town people, between hero and heroine, ect. Yes I got it, undeniable chemistry. The personal reflection; should have told her, should tell him was a little much for two such strong personalities.

I've been waiting for this book for what seems like forever. So as soon as it arrived on my doorstep today, I locked myself in the bedroom and started reading Ultimate Sins. This book is jam packed with action, suspense, sacrifice, sorrow, serious hot sex, and of course love! Just when you think you know how a story is going to play out, Lora Leigh puts together so many twists and turns that you are left reeling. I absolutely love books and I read constantly, but Ultimate Sins, puts any other book I've read this year to shame. Every scene is well written and you can tell Lora Leigh put an insane amount of time into this book. Her characters were so detailed and at times so heartbreakingly beautiful. Anything I write in this review couldn't possibly come close to how excellent this book really is. Ultimate Sins is a fantastic, nail biting read and it was definitely worth the wait!

first off let me say i'm a huge fan of Lora Leigh. I have enjoyed the other books in this series but this book just wasn't as good as the others. in the first books you really get to know the cousins and their loyalty for each other and the women they love. this book was not that, i feel like there was just a lot o sex and not a lot of seducing. I feel like we didn't really get to know Crowe the man just Crowe the horny man. I'm disappointed that Crowe was not really working with his cousins to help keep Amelia safe but instead he depended on his security firm to protect her. i think this book had a lot of potential that just wasn't reached.
I will get the next LL book when it comes out i just hope Ms. leigh can connect with her next characters.

I've been waiting for Crowe and Amelia story for what seems like forever. We got a small glimpse in the Novella as to what we were to expect but I was hoping for a bit more. I mean this was the end of the Slasher and I didn't feel that they got retribution for all the horrible things the guys went through. We got the ultimate reason for the death of their parents but I still didn't feel the grandparents feelings toward them was explained unless I missed something. Otherwise I'm glad It finally came out and I did enjoy it but you do need to read the other books to know what is going on.

The perfect match for Crowe. I hate that the series is over but my day dreams of this one particular book will love on. (Although I did see some missing words here or there-it DID NOT take away from the story.) I loved loved this book. So content to see it end so beautifully and epic. This story should have been called Crowe and Amelia Sex Life. There was so much sex in this story that the actual story about capturing the Slasher was hard to find sometimes. I ended up skipping so many scenes because of this. I really enjoyed the books in the series before and was finally glad that Crowd's story was finally being told. After such a long wait and forgotten memories of the others, this was a disappointment in how it progressed. I loved that Crowe and Amelia had such a strong history and he would do anything to protect her, but this story dragged on for too long. I was glad that after all these years, it finally came to an end.

I was lost at the beginning of this book. Yes, I've read the others in the series, and maybe I should have re-read them before starting this one. For the first chapter (or 2 or 3), I had no clue what was going on. I also felt like there was too much sex. Yes, I said it -- too much sex. It seemed that every chapter ended with them taking off their clothes. I was shocked when a chapter ended with no sex. I'm not a prude; I buy erotic romances, but I felt that the sex took away from the plot of this story. I like Lora Leigh. I will continue to buy her books, but this one just didn't work for me. 2 stars. Darn.
