How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

3.0 out of 5 stars Strangers in a broken Wonderland
Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2015
It isn't a long book but it was rather hard to get into it. It kind of plods along in the beginning, but once the plot really starts to develop it's more interesting. A new twist on a bunch of people and things suddenly appearing in a place with no explanation and trying to find a way to survive. The end of the book reminds me a little of Zelazny's Amber books, although not as well developed or with as many twists. It was okay but it didn't exactly leave me wanting more. I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review.

3.0 out of 5 stars Short and not too sweet.

I know this short book was in the Sci-Fi genre but it was too short to allow the story to develop into a completed tale. The plot, such as it was, was original however the jumps in the actions of the characters and their relationships were too sudden. This was not surprising given the brevity of this story, that could have been used as an intro into a short series of adventures based on this theme.
