I found this series got better as more books came out. Each book add some depth to this world with the,six warriors. I liked the fact they are learning to trust more, Blake added a different angle to the story line. Developing Jovan and Liberty's characters was fun to read. To see the plot get darker and richer was a positive that most book don't develops was nice. Makes me want to keep read, so I will. It's hard to find well developed books today, so when I do my nose is stuck in them thanks for a great read.
I really love this series. The author has brought together some interesting characters with some unique flaws to overcome. This story brought in a new character, Blake, that I like and am looking forward to more from him. It also brought together all of the Saviors and their mates and gave plenty of face time for all of them. I really felt for Talin and Cohen when tragedy hit them. However, I think the development of the two main characters was a little lite for me. I would have preferred this book to be longer in order to spend more time watching Jovan and Liberty fall in love.
This latest edition to the Six Saviors series does not disappoint. Although it is still 3rd on my list, with Book 1 (The Light Within Me) at the top and book 3 (Reborn) a very close second, Destiny's Shift is only trailing behind by a nose. The writing style in this is tight, witty and highly entertaining. Not wanting to give anything away, I will say I was shocked by the early plot twist thrown in and the addition of the new characters introduced in this book. Curious to see if Carly plans on expanding the series beyond the six with these new characters.
This series has made me a big fan of Carly Fall, this series is the first I have read by her, but I will definitely be reading more. These characters are so lovable , and when these guys fall in love , they are there for life. The women are strong willed and stand on their on in the relationships. Each of their stories are fantastic, you feel their emotions and can't help but root for them. Ready for the next one, great read!!!
This book is a big turning point in the series. If you're a reader who jumps in out of order, it won't work by skipping Jovan's story, it's too pivotal to the future of the story as a whole. Fortunately the love story still delivers!
