This was one of the worst P&P alternatives that I have ever read. It's only redeeming quality was that there was no verbal porn. Otherwise, what a nightmare! I kept thinking that this story would turn out to be a nightmare that Elizabeth would wake from and discover that her world was a normal, sane place unlike what she had been experiencing in her nightmare. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We are expected to believe that Darcy and Elizabeth, after a year of marriage, fail to communicate on the most basic level; that Mrs. Bennett would make crude sexual observations in front of Lady Catherine while visiting Pemberly; that either Darcy or Elizabeth would have allowed Wickham to come anywhere near Pemberly. These and many other unlikely scenarios are all contained within this novel. If this author missed out on an opportunity to input a negative theme into this story, it is not apparent. The whole story was one big negative.
