Decent story line, good character development but I couldn't get past the constant use of "Jesus" as slang. Disappointing for an author to be so callous to take the name of the Lord in vain without much thought. He is a good writer and I hope he understands that using Jesus as slang doesn't sit well with a lot of the population.
This is one hell of a great read. Cotton really knows how to tell a story, and his characters come to life right off the page. My favorite character in this tale was the giant. You'll see why if you trust me and grab a copy. I nearly fell out of bed laughing at the end. I'm not kidding. Loved it.
Good book. There were several editing problems throughout the kindle edition of the book. I enjoyed the book however I do believe the other Ralph Cotton books I've read mainly the Big Iron Series were better.
