If your a Mom of children/adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities, or Special Educational needs, this book is for you! Not only do the contributors of this Revolutionary book expose raw and painstaking experiences, it reveals with honesty what has gone unspoken about for too long.
Prompting the current movement of advocacy, these families share advice making their lives transparent. Depicting what it is actually like on a regular basis in regard to its overall context.
It is bold, it is courageous and every page confirms for every reader that you, your child/children, your family is not alone in the fight for advocacy.

This book is collection of real, raw stories of people like you and me. There is so much that we just assume and trust to be correct without really questioning things in this world. Well, this is a book that tells us all why we need to think for ourselves about EVERYTHING. It always seems easier to just do what everyone else is telling you to do, especially when everyone is telling you it's the best thing for your child (this is clearly what everyone wants). It's time to question and think for ourselves. These parents have learned the hard way, and are still suffering the consequences. All they want to do is save you, or anyone, from the chaos they have endured, and continue to endure, with their medically sick children. We have to take the lead and take our time learning and questioning big decisions like vaccinations or anything else our children will be subjected to. This book will touch you. Whether you have kids or not, this is one of the most important books I've read in a long time. Also, I have to say, each chapter is very well written...kudos to all you parents out there that have contributed! There is hope, and hopefully these stories will bring about positive changes for everyone. READ IT and Think! -L

5.0 out of 5 stars Thinking Moms... And Dads Rock

This book should be required reading for anyone who thinks vaccines and toxicity don't cause autism. Pediatricians should read this before they push any more babies off the cliff into lifelong toxic damage.
This is the living testimony of parents whose children have been needlessly sacrificed to the CDC and Big Pharma so they can keep the money rolling in.
Parents please get educated, vaccines and pediatricians will maim and kill more and more children unless we just stop this madness.
Keep your greedy ignorant hands off our children.

This is the most bittersweet book I have ever read. At times, I was sobbing and other times laughing out loud. The struggles that these families have endured and are fighting and conquering every day are just awe inspiring. I myself do not have a child affected by autism but my life is affected - I have over 9 friends whose children have been diagnosed with autism and I would like to think that I am supportive. Reading these stories just drives home that I DO NOT know the half of it. Yes, this is a book written by parents who have children that have been diagnosed with autism or other developmental delays, but it is not a story about autism. It is about knowledge, power, owning your life and taking back control from those who tell you " the right and wrong" things to do for your family. Most of all, it is a story of love and is a must read or all!!

I found myself only pages into the book in tears. Chapters, in sobs. Because i too have been screaming this for years. So very happy a book like this has been written by those who've BECOME friends. .. family. .. on this lonely autism journey. You inspire, and now WE ARE AWARE. Bits and pieces are my story as well. In the not too distant future, everyone will be seeing the same. FANTASTIC read if you want to know the real story behind a generation of sick children and how to heal them.

Wow! Nothing like wearing your heart on your sleeve! That's what these mom's (and dad) have done here. Thank you for sharing your journey and your stories of love and hope.
For me, this story began at Day 19 for Alex. I was enraged that he did not receive the basic care any and all children should receive when admitted to a hospital. Then I continued to learn of the plight of the majority of autistic children and their families.
Along with prayers, I pledge to you families and friends of TMR to help share your stories of love and courage and use available resources to join in the chant "autism is medical"!
Love and God's blessings to you all! Jan

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST read for EVERY pregnant woman.

This book has the potential to save countless lives from awful pain and suffering. This book makes you think for yourself as a patent, go with your gut instinct about your precious child, and stop blinding trusting medical doctors. This book will spark any parent that reads it to research the vaccine scam which is the most important lifesaver within its pages. I have a vaccine injured child that would never had happened had I read this book first before trusting his uneducated pediatrician. TMR turns us into THINKERS for our children's health. God bless every parent who poured their soul out into these pages. I highly recommend buying this book for any pregnant mom you may know as it would be a priceless gift for them and their unborn child.

4.0 out of 5 stars A lot of good information for people that are learning about Autism

A lot of good information for people that are learning about Autism. I do not have anyone in my family and in that I am blessed but it probably makes my review not count as much. That is fine. It was, overall, an interesting read.

Kudos to all the moms and dads who took the time to share their lives with us. I am much less ignorant after reading this book and recommend it to all parents and parents to be. This book encompasses so much more than just the spectrum but knowledge we should all have to care for ourselves and families.

It is an easy read that will make you laugh, cry and definitely think. Most of all for me it put a whole new perspective on what really matters in life.
