This has been my least favorite book in the Fast Track series. But then, my expectations could have been too high after reading Slow Ride which was surprisingly good.
This is the story of Eve Monroe and Nolan Ford. The characters had great chemistry, but I never really warmed to Eve. I always felt that she was kind of a bitch and the relationship she had with her family was too tense and was never fully resolved. She was very angry at her father and never seemed to feel close to her siblings but nothing was ever done about it.
I liked Nolan Ford. I found him to be sympathetic, strong yet caring and a good match for Eve in that he was calm and rational while she was kind of an angry control freak.
My biggest complaint about this book was that there was too much sex and not enough story. While the other books in this series have been a little on the sex-heavy side, I never felt like it sacrificed the story telling.
Overall, I thought this book was OK and wouldn't recommend it unless you were just dying to read all of the books in the Fast Track series.
