This book is a great read, I read the other reviews here and hear the same complaint .. firstly sturm is young in this book and growing into the character he will become. The books main purpose is to shed light on sturms background and his heritage and it's a lot of fun.As a fan of the Author and his 2 legends books I loved how he tied them all together and threw some other mysterious characters in there ( uth matar) ,( pathwardens) etc. Bottom line it's a great read don't let narrow minded reviews put you off giving a book a try more often than not I'm pleasantly surprised..
