I've been reading the author's books for some time now and each one is great in their own rights.
To be thrown back into time with no electronics, cabs, grocery stores, and any convenience we take for granted, makes one appreciate the present. However, there is something about the simplistic life of the book being set in 1877.
There some numerous parts, as when Jack rides a plane for the first time, that was pretty funny. How would one from 1877 act in 1999? Then how would one from 1999 act in 1877?
The characters are well thought out, and I love Marc and Bryan.
The book as always is well written and another enjoyable read.
