Who wrote this book? It has many glaring historical errors with the characters. I won't go into all of them, but the most bothersome to me was that in this book Leo doesn't use firearms. Very strange, as in one of the earlier books, the story of how he came to carry them was spelled out in great detail.
This novel has the feel of an author trying to write a series novel without re-reading the previous work.
It was an OK read, but a bit depressing. I was hoping a certain couple might get back together...
I loved the other books in this series, and am reading and enjoying the last novel right now. "Thicker than Water" just doesn't seem to quite fit in.
