This book was first published in the late 80's (wow), so I originally (must have) read it probably thirty years ago, but the title was vaguely ringing a bell, kind of shocked I still remembered it. So I bought it and was looking forward to reading it again. I was not disappointed, it's definitely still a good read, and I must say it stood the test of time quite well. Sandra Brown writes good books. :)
This is another great book by a author that just doesn't quit for suspense and mystery. Her books never fail to keep you reading, reading and reading some more! I don't know how she keeps them coming like this, but I am so glad she does.
I have NEVER cried about a book....but this one. When Tony was at the hospital and she let him HAVE IT about not showing emotion! But then he started crying. ...I CRIED! I felt it all. Now this is the kind of writing I love! Thank you Sandra.
A well written description of the common struggles of many people today. More and more of us today have more than one culture in our blood and while it is a positive step for the world many struggle with the prejudices and their identities. Enjoyed this book
