Allie has just graduated from fashion school and hasn't been able to find a job. Her true aspirations are to develope and produce her own clothes and accessory line. She comes upon an opportunity to write a column about camping for an outdoors magazine. When she finds that she has landed the job, she has to find a way to get through it without having to the main thing she really doesn't like doing...camping. She gets way more than she bargained for, both in the article and her new boss. In the end, she finds that she wants way more from her new job than just writing about camping.
Renee Riva did an excellent job in writing this short romantic comedy! I throughly enjoyed reading this book. I was sad when it ended so quickly.
Allie Jaskie (Sage Forester) is a well rounded character. She has a grand sense of humor, morals, and she is bubbly. Charlie is also a well diversed charater! I felt like I was right there in on Mount Rainier! The setting was very well described!
The only thing that I disliked about the book is that it ended too quickly! I would have liked a little more information as to what happened to the main characters. All in all it was a good book for a short read! I would definately reccommend it to someone that wants a light read that will lift your spirits. There are several "Laugh Out Loud" moments in this book!
5.0 out of 5 starsAnother pleasureable read from Renee!

Always makes you smile, giggle and sometimes even laugh out loud! I LOVED the Saving Sailor series - passed them all on so that my Mom, my sisters & my niece could read them. Will do the same with Happy Camper!
Happy Camper (Mountain View Inn #1) was a good quick read by Renee Riva. Allie Jaskie is a recent fashion school graduate, and is desperate for a job. Charlie Braun is the editor of Happy Camper Magazine and is in need of a field reporter. Allie must write an article about summer snow campaign on Mount Rainer. Trouble is she isn't fond of camping or snow. I really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by Renee Riva.
