Nothing really new from all research done to help my wife. The one thing mentioned often I knew but had not acted was the reference to the combined effect of adrenal and cortisol had how they simply keep working, never shut off as designed to do. This explains the connection of cortisol, belly fat and stress! My wife has 3 major stressors in her life right now (for past 5 years), we have changed diet (largely Mediterranean), vitamins and supplements, doctors, massage and on about 1200-1500 calories a day with a lot of walking she gains 24# belly fat and cannot get it off. Now we know connection; we purchased the supplements mentioned last week (sorry to say on the good doctor's site just could not afford his supplements, which would total about $7K a year just for her plus appointments NOT insurance covered. Bought all the books instead saving about $15K a year.
I have all of Dr. Don Colbert's books in hardcover and was very pleased to find many of them now available for download to my iPad. This is a great book for anyone working in a stressful environment.

Good compact concise book about stress , bit surprised with the Bible quotations but have recommended it to people I know would be interested in the relationship to their beliefs afforded by the book.
