How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant workshop
Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2019
This set of CDs captured a workshop presented in Taos, NM. You can treat yourself to the workshop experience that you may not be able to afford by listening to this set. Take the time. Do the exercises. Listen to it again. Establish your (writing) practice. As a lifelong musician, I understand the need to practice... for music. Natalie Goldberg made me understand that writing, like athletics (and music), required practice. She's absolutely right - as a writer, you think you should be issuing brilliance, and if you don't, you're a failure. This is not true, though. Writing takes practice. If you know you will write a lot of sh*t, you give yourself permission to be imperfect.

Her ways of getting to memory through being present is fresh to me. I have remembered more in the week I've been listening to this set than at any other time in my life (except three in the morning when I can't sleep).

Get the set. Listen to it. Practice, practice, practice. You won't be sorry.
