I'm not surprised that this novel is a good one. I've never read one of Mr. Parker's that wasn't good. But the thing that makes this one special is that it has Chief Jesse Stone and PI Sonny Randall in the same story, flirting like crazy, and keeping the story line moving and the pages almost too hot to flip. Add two gorgeous identical twins, married to two "retired" mob bosses, who live next door to each other in Paradise? Well, what can I say? When the bad guys start dying, everyone involved looks guilty, and Sunny and Jesse get to figure out who did what to whom and why, and still make it to the end on time. It's a tale well told and well worth the read.
