I’ve read the author’s WW 2 naval books and liked very much. Thought I would give this a chance and glad I did. This is an exciting mystery and what I most liked was that it was more or less believable. Getting tired of main characters who can survive anything (although to be frank, there were a few scenes where it was stretched).

Pretty good tale. Almost possible . Surprising detail almost too much. At least he is familiar with the items I am familiar with accurately which makes it easier to read . Actually knows vehicles and firearms without goofing them up.
This story is a well written, well plotted tale that contains it all--action, intrigue, and numerous zigs and zags. In relation to the latter, every time you think you have things figured out, the author throws in another twist that scrambles the reader's logic, but keeps his interest riveted to the plot. This is a very enjoyable and easy reading book that will appeal to any fan of mysteries. Another winner for Deutermann.
