The Redwall series of books is well written and perfect for both young and young-at-heart readers. It’s a fantasy set full of adventures of good versus evil, coming of age, finding bravery and friendship, reveling in poetry and song, and feasting as if at the end of a ten season famine! Brian Jacques crafted wonderful friends and heroes ate Redwall Abbey, and you’ll enjoy meeting them again and again!
This 15th out of over 22 Readwell stories is my absolute favorite! The characters are always flawed but easily loved. The adventure, is full of twists and turns. Ever the unexpected happens to Triss and company. Read at your own peril (you'll get hooked) and for your own enjoyment!
As a lifelong Redwall fan, I was not surprised at all at how much I enjoyed this book. The daring heroes, the dastardly villains, all with the right amount of seriousness and humor combined to make a wonderful story that anyone can enjoy. Read it today!
I've read every 'Redwall' book I can find, and I've never read one that wasn't thoroughly entertaining... The grandchildren don't seem to fancy it until they get around nine or ten, though.
