My Mom, Sister and I have all enjoyed all five of Kate Jacobs books and are sad there are no more. The stories and characters are well thought out. We felt like we knew the characters in our real world lives. She vanished from Facebook in 2011 so she is no longer writing and perhaps no longer with us. Wonderful talent apparently gone
love this series! you have to start with the first book, Friday Night Knitters Club, but it is a great series. I could not put it down. It is not just about knitting, but about the lives of different people and struggles of every day life.
I was a little skeptical starting this book. It just didn't seem the same without Georgia there. But as I kept reading each of the knitters developed their personality and story managing and moving on without her. Hated for it to end.
I really enjoyed this book, I love knitting and any excuse to talk about knitting was fun for me. This book starts, out slower then the first book in this series, but I promise you it ends with you wanting another. That to me is always a grew book.
I loved it. The characrers evolved as we do in life. It was tied up nice and neat in the end(well most of it) which isn't very life like but we need that in fiction to help us cope with our own un neat and not always nice lives, right? Escape into a story and all... And i love love love the Georgia blanket pattern at the end!
