Very realistic portrayal of middle school kids. Good adults for the most part.
I thought the changes that came about in friendships among key players was poorly developed in the last several chapters. They main character, Jill, and her antagonist, Wendy, we're true to form. There was good representation of culture and religion. One exception was the mixed use of the terms temple and synagogue. Each of these facilities serves distinct and separate purposes for a Jewish community.
