4.0 out of 5 stars This audio abridged version too sparse

After reading this title from the library, and listening to the audio from the library, I wanted to add at to my Kindle. Since a Kindle version was not available, I opted to purchase the audio. The audio from Amazon is only a little over 3 hours....the one from the library was over 5 hours. Morgan Fairchild did a good job of narration, but whoever did the abridged script pared everything down too far. Much of the reasoning behind the H and h's actions was eliminated. Making the storyline seem too rushed.

2.0 out of 5 stars Kidnapping of a child and Stockholm Syndrome romance
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 11, 2017

Not a great book. Twisted story about a woman and her son who are snatched off a train by a dominant man. Romance ensues. Hmmm.... Stockholm Syndrome anyone? The kid was cute and funny and although the man had redeeming qualities, it's no way to start a relationship. Her ex-husband wasn't a nice person, so maybe she just had the bar set very low.

It wasn't at all what I expected. I like some of Sandra Brown's later books but this one was pretty dire on all levels.

3.0 out of 5 stars die Story schwächelt etwas
