I wish I read this soon after our son was born. It would've saved some arguments. I read it at five months and it explains ways to relax when it comes to how dads parent. It is slanted towards stay at home moms which I am not so I would've liked more tips on coping with those issues. I also would've liked more tips on how to handle dad when you do have a problem with how he's parenting. But all in all this is enjoyable and provides a refreshing perspective. More importantly is having the kindle app on my phone. Lifesaver when rocking my baby during his naps!
What a fabulous resource this is! Not just for new mom's, but for moms of many, and one-day-to-be-moms. This is not just about little book about dealing with dad, as one more thing to be tackled when there is a new baby, but really a useful device for all around good tips for marriage in a family. Each chapter and every page is filled with quotes and tips and tidbits from experienced moms and dads who share their mistakes and breakthroughs with readers. Learn from their mistakes, instead of making them yourself! I highly recommend this little book and I cannot wait to dive into some of the other titles available through MOPS from Susan Besze Wallace and Monica Reed.
