The sequel to payback on poplar lane, this book is very exciting and shows the trueness of heart, happiness, and being who you are. There were many parts in this book that made me laugh, and it shows that girls should have rights, but in a way that I wouldn't choose to write with, involving girls going through pueberty, in specific periods, but in a way that made me laugh, so I do recommend this book, but it could be better.

This is a funny, sweet, smart book that's also deeply thoughtful about the emotional lives of kids. Readers will love seeing the return of characters from Payback on Poplar Lane.

I love these great characters, and I fully enjoyed the next installment of the Poplar Lane kids! This book was even better than the first (which I thought was pretty great)! Delightful writing, fantastic characters, smart and funny. You can't go wrong with this series.
Who knew seventh grade politics could be so hilariously high-stakes? This book is a funny, lovable, and empowering ride through the tempestuous journey that is running for class president. You'll laugh, you'll cry—you'll want to get one for every middle school kid you know.
