Who wants to live in a world without love and emotion. Perfection is over rated and sometimes playing God has far reaching consequences. I liked this book as it showed all of Sage's weaknesses which turned out to be her strengths in hindsight. Loyalty is a strength not a weakness so no one gets left behind. Self sacrifice and devotion also a strength not a human weakness but the primes had these characteristics bred out years ago. It takes someone who has the ability to inspire people, who is not afraid to take chances and to make a difference in people's lives to come forth and offer an alternative way of living, only then is there hope that the world can transform. Sage is that visionary but she does not know it yet. For that to come to pass she has to survive first.

I never figured out why the sister and brother had the connection they did. I had a hard time finishing because I couldn't connect with the story. However, the writing was fairly well done and another reader will likely love it. I wish we could return our Kindle books to a giant pool of Kindle stories to trade and exchange.
