I seldom just STOP reading a book that I've started, but I'm putting this one down.
The story simply does not seem to follow Book one. It's as if there's a huge gap in continuity. As far as I can tell the entire first three chapters are either a flashback or a flash forward. There are characters we don't know, and situations that we have no idea how anyone got into.
if this is supposed to be a clever literary ploy, the author has waited far too long to resolve anything for this book to keep my interest. I'm done. Moving on.
