How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Remarkable and fascinating. A lot of interesting ideas and pieces of history to dig out from this at a later date but Du Bois does a good job of sketching the incredible influence of the African on America.
I and many in our country need to work harder to know and understand history.

4.0 out of 5 stars A new perspective

The Gift of Black Folk is a comprehensive analytical perspective of the role of African Americans in the development of American culture. WEB Dubois presents excellent analysis of the ways in which our culture was shaped by Blacks an many levels, including economic impact, role in war, religious and cultural impact on the America we have come to be. Some of the sources he cites were previously completely unknown to me, despite my considering myself a fairly enlightened person of pallor. It is a little dated as it is not a current work, but definitely lays the foundation for how our culture has been shaped from the beginning. A highly recommended read.
