A life changing journey packed into an exciting novella. Dragon Revealed is a great introduction to the next chapter for the Dragon Kings.

Jeyra should be feeling her greatest accomplishment. She captured a dragon king. However the lengths she went to carry this amazing feat could have her in jeopardy. Revenge for her family is finally on the horizon. She’s an amazing Warrior but an interrogator she is not. The more time she spends with the Dragon King the more she begins to question many things. Caught up in confusion and no one to trust Jeyra feels most at ease with the one who should be the enemy. For someone who has hated dragons her entire life, next to Varek is where she wants to be.

One minute Varek is swimming around the ocean and the next he wakes up shackled to a wall in a realm he’s never seen before. Unable to contact the other dragons and his magic nonexistent at the moment for the King of the Lichens, he quickly learns that he has to be smarter than his captors. Needing information Varek answers Jeyra questions asking his own along the way. Quickly finding himself drawn to this woman, anticipating her visits and imagining her red hair hanging down. As Verak’s questions begin to make Jeyra think and question her own people, he wants to protect her, keep her safe, fight for her. Verak found his one but is she the enemy or his mate?

Dragon Revealed grabs the reader from the get go and doesn’t let up until the end. Jeyra is an amazingly strong character. She stood her ground, sought the truth and did what was right. She followed her gut and it never led her wrong. Verak is strong in so many ways. When he couldn’t use his magic or his strength he compensated with his patients. Even with his own safety on the line Verak shows his compassion and passion for Jeyra without the blink of an eye. They were perfect for one another. Donna Grant bridges the Dark Kings to the Dragon Kings flawlessly. A short story that packed a big punch. Filled with questions and mystery, Dragon Revealed will have you flying through the pages just to see what happens. There are even a few surprises and a nice little treat in store for a long time readers of the series.

This is the first book in the new extension to Donna Grant’s Dark World series, Dragon Revealed: Dragon Kings #1. Following in the time line of the Dark Kings, Reapers, and Warriors series, we meet Varek, a Dragon King who has been mysteriously been kidnaped from Earth and is being held in a parallel realm. He awakens chained underground, and unable to use his dragon magic. His captor is a woman, Jeyra, who feels that she is justified in capturing Varek, and subduing him in any way possible. With this book, Donna Grant does what she does best, she gives us hints at possible future stories, with more new mysteries for her readers to speculate about. This book is well written, and captured my attention and interest from almost the first page. Varek is a strong, capable character (man? Dragon?) who shows more emotion than some of the other Dragon Kings have-he makes a believable man, who just happens to be able to turn into a dragon. The character of Jeyra is not as strongly fleshed out, but she isn’t just a damsel who thinks she’s a warrior. We are told her backstory, and I grew to like her better as the story progressed. The 1001 Dark Nights series of books are written to be read as stand-alones, and Dragon Revealed is perfect for this. Donna Grant puts just enough information into this book so that a reader who hasn’t read the rest of her Dark World books won’t have any trouble following what happens. I enjoyed this book more that some of her other titles, and look forward to Dragon Mine-Dragon Kings Book 2. I was given an ARC by the author to read in advance, and this is my honest opinion.

I have followed the Dark World from the beginning. Delving whole heartedly into a world full of dragons, fae, druids, and warriors. A world that culminates into a finale so spectacular we mourned the end.

Fear not, the story continues in the next Dark World chapter, The Dragon Kings.

Dragon Revealed is everything I expected from Donna Grant and more. A perfect novella to introduce the next chapter. A stage set to intoduce our Heroine, Jeyra, a strong, fierce, and determined woman. A woman raised to question nothing, to always accept what her people have told her is true. A Heroine who captures her enemy by any means necessary. A woman whose very reality is soon shattered by the Dragon King in her custody.

Throughout the greater story we have had glimpses of Varek, teasers into the Dragon King he is. We speculated who his mate is. We were all wrong. Jeyra is perfect for him. Her very existence opens a whole new storyline.

The questions left behind are intriguing, thought provoking, and I will not reveal them here. If you want to know more pick up a copy of Dragon Revealed for yourself today. I for one cannot wait to delve further into Donna’s newest series. Happy Reading.

Dragon Revealed Review: Every time I start reading one of Donna Grants books I can not put them down! Donna Grant’s amazingly wonderful imagination takes us on adventure with a courageous, strong and beautiful warrior Jeyra who has finally captured a Dragon King that destroyed her family on another realm.

Varek King of the Lichens wakes in a dungeon chained with no magic, unable to call to the other Kings, no memory of what happened or use his strength to break free. Jeyra is given the task to find out all the information she can from Varek even if it wasn’t him that destroyed her family she holds the Dragon Kings accountable. Varek is instantly drawn to her and wants to aide her to find out what happened to her family and also find out what realm he has been taken too.

This is the first book in the the spin off series Dragon Kings and will leave you on the edge of your seat to see what happens next! This amazing book takes us on a journey with these 2 characters and their undeniable attraction with each other. Will Jeyra finally get the answers she seeks and will Varek be able to return to the other Dragon Kings you will have to read and find out.

All I can say is Donna Grant you are an amazing Author you always nail it. I cannot wait to see what happens next all I can say is I am so glad the Dragon Kings are continuing it’s going to be a wild ride! I am giving this book 5 stars Donna Grant’s books are so easy to read and if you haven’t read her books before this one will certainly leave you wanting more. Pre order or buy now you will not be disappointed I am so looking forward to all the future novels in any genre as Donna’s many different stories continue.

Love me a dragon king story and reading Varek's background and how he came to be, I loved it. Enjoyed hum trying to figure out where he is, racking his brain in trying to figure out how he ended up where he was and his introduction to his captor Jeyra. Seemed like he was thrown back in time. I liked the twists in this book- adds a bit of mystery and keeps you wanting to know more and has me amped for the next story.
