This was an interestering book with historical fiction thrown in. It kept my attention and wanted to see the next chapter. However it didn’t leave me wanting to see a sequel like the Saint books, I read all three of those and enjoyed them. This was a tamer version of Indian problems. It is worth reading though.

I am thankful I found this writer and this series of books. So much adventure, action, and historical facts of the early 19th century. Great characters, great dialogue , and beautiful vistas painted with words. And it is for everyone in the family. Unless their opposed to frontier battles! Plenty of detailed fights by our heroes. Read this and you’ll learn a few things about the early American frontier , the native people that inhabited it, and probably yourself as well.
