Thank you B. N. Rundell for a great read.l look forward to another awesome read next month. I really enjoy your 📚. You can picture the trees and trails right along with the story. It’s like your right there with the boy’s on their journey.
Westward the wilderness This was an interestering book with historical fiction thrown in. It kept my attention and wanted to see the next chapter. However it didn’t leave me wanting to see a sequel like the Saint books, I read all three of those and enjoyed them. This was a tamer version of Indian problems. It is worth reading though.
I enjoyed this book but it wasn't as good as the previous two. I didn't think it had as much adventure and intrigue as the others. I certainly hope book four incorporates more because this book was like a travelogue.
I am thankful I found this writer and this series of books. So much adventure, action, and historical facts of the early 19th century. Great characters, great dialogue , and beautiful vistas painted with words. And it is for everyone in the family. Unless their opposed to frontier battles! Plenty of detailed fights by our heroes. Read this and you’ll learn a few things about the early American frontier , the native people that inhabited it, and probably yourself as well.
I have read the first two books in the Saga, and they just keep getting better and better, they are very well written, and the two friends just keep getting into more trouble the further west they go, well recommended, and I am about to read the fourth book in the Saga let's hope it is even better.
I love these books. Anybody into westerns will love them all. Guaranteed! Great, real, characters; believable adventures; superb descriptive passages; they've all got the lot.
