I like the characters. I loved the murder mystery. There is an over-arching plotline that made progress in this book but did not fully resolve. The male heros are turning out to be a very old and powerful vampire and a very sexy alpha shifter. It almost starts to feel like team Edward or team Jacob. Not quite though. The heroes in this book are much more mature. Much better. But it is not clear who is going to get the girl.

I honestly thought I had the book figured out from the very beginning. I was disappointed that it was so easy to solve. BUT!!!! I was so wrong! Some things I figured out early on, but not the main mystery.
I even guessed some side mysteries wrong! And I’m NEVER wrong! I LOVE a book that keeps me guessing and this book had so many twists and turns I was on the edge of my seat to the end.
