Just received it and love it as much as I love the creator of it. The book is hard to put down. I love the way we learn from our experiences and how Susan shares hers in humility and joyous declarations. You too can speak to God!
Repeatedly tells the reader to go to her website to download her guided meditation. I venture you will have to register for that. Maybe I am just a lowly "fortune teller" which she poo-poos in this book. "When you ask fortune-telling questions, something or someone will happily answer, but I can assure you it will not be your higher self, a divine being, or the voice of God. That is because asking predictive questions lowers your vibrations and attracts lower energies." Mmmkay. This book is full of scary stories to keep you from contacting spirit unless you use her method. There are charts, lists, and numbered steps. Another direct quote: "Right now it is popular to develop psychic abilities. Many people contact their "guides", talk to "angels", get messages from "departed spirits," become a "channeler," or communicate with the "dead." With the poularity of John Edwards, James Van Praagh, Kim Russo, Lisa Williams, and others, it has become chic to be a medium". Not sure why she put all those words in quotes, but it sure does come across as patronizing and bitter. Anyone can talk to Spirit, say a small prayer to surround yourself with love and light and talk and ask away. Close your eyes and listen, music helps too! I plan to check out the books of Van Praagh, Edwards and the others who truly do have a gift. BTW she describes the "pink light" of Mother Mary Hmmm..I think a more accurate description would be blue.
