Once I began reading The Quiet Girl, I found myself unable to put it down. I especially loved the characters S. F. Kosa created. They were real, not perfect and very relatable which made the suspense all the more intense. This book had me guessing right up until the very end. LOVED it!!

This novel was my library’s Big Read, and although I typically stay away from books recommended this way, decided to give this one a try.
It started off so slow that I had to force myself to keep reading this book. I kept waiting for it to become as good as what I figured many others must have thought it was, the whole time worrying that it would disappoint. To my relief, it finally turned around almost two-thirds of the way through and after that point I couldn’t put it down until I knew what happened to Mina. The author surprised me with her ending, showing no fear of being different, which is very refreshing.
I’m glad I stuck with it but it isn’t one of my favorites.
This book definitely takes an unexpected turn towards the middle of the book! I had a hard time staying focused on the characters and what was going on in the beginning since there wasn't too much explanation. But once you get towards the middle everything starts to make a lot more sense. I wish there was more character development for the husband in this story, and all of the writing about his job didn't really have a connection with the story. Overall a good read! Glad that I read this book. Not quite sure I would call it a thriller but ya!

If you like psychological thrillers this one is really good. A bit dark and if you have triggers on abuse this may not be for you, but wow, this book is good. I could not put it down. Awesome writing and an amazing story, with so many twists I got lost in trying to figure out what happened to Mina. Definitely an emotional roller coaster so hang on and enjoy the ride, this is a good one. Happy reading.

Wow. Once you adjust to the dueling/dual narrative format things begin to get clearer. The story will break your heart; the who dunnit will keep you guessing until the end; the end is not what you expect.
