Amazing Continuation of an Awesome Story!

The Resonance by Michelle Medhat is the 3rd in her Trusted Thriller Series, and boy does it keep you going! As Ellie's life hangs in the balance, so does the worlds. She is struggling to escape her situation and trying to figure out how to save her husband, Sam at the same time. However now, she is also responsible to save the world. Can she prevent WW III and heal the earth? What an exhilarating ride that Michelle takes us on. I am looking forward to book 4 and seeing what conclusions come. I received a free ARC of this book and these opinions are my own.

Back in 1983, DC Comics released a series called “Thriller”, no connection to the Michael Jackson album, with the tagline “You can’t read it fast enough”. I never thought that tagline and never understood it until I started reading The Trusted series which to date is The Trusted, The Dominant and this book The Resonance. Each book you do want to read quicker and quicker as the pace moves along at breakneck speed. Michelle Medhat gives us a series filled with great characters at a greater pace which a new book arrives in nice intervals, so you are not waiting too long. I view the Resonance as well as the other books in the series as a mix of the Jason Bourne series and X-Files. I highly recommend this book & series.

An edge-of-your-seat read is an understatement! The Trusted Series will knock you off the chair and leave you begging for more. I just finished book #3, The Resonance, and I am blown away. Ellie Noor realizes she’s more than human (I’ll say no more). But this revelation adds tension to her life with her great love and husband, MI6 spy Sam Noor. Games of power and destruction literally throw planets off balance, including Earth. It’s up to Ellie to save the world, but she didn’t have a clue she had any power until now. The Resonance is gritty, edgy, naughty, and fabulous!

Oh my gosh...this is my favorite so far out of this series. This is an amazing heart racing book. The suspense in every page was great . I had the hardest time putting this book down, it's one of those ok 1 more page kinda books when your trying to go to bed. Before you know it a few hours went by. This series is amazing . I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review and I can say this is the best one yet! It is full of twists and suspense and keeps you turning the pages late into the night. Edge of your seat suspense and I highly recommend reading this novel!

Relentless Thriller

Having read the first two books in the series, I was more than keen to start The Resonance.

The world is being held in a grip of terror by Al Nadir and it's two villainous Chiefs, Al Douri and Sabeena. They will stop at nothing to bring the planet to its knees, domination their only goal.

World leaders are cowering, unsure of what to do, with the exception of one, who has very serious plans to rid the world of this evil.

Not giving too much away, the main characters are really put through the mill in this book, with some very harrowing scenes played out in graphic detail. And it's not just the main characters who are subjected to it, as others are dragged into the fray, holding up or turning allegiances. You just don't know who is whose side.

That's the great thing about this book. You're kept guessing until the last moments.

There are some spectacular set-pieces, with carnage never seen before unfolding as the pages turn. No one is safe from Al Nadir and no one can hide.

It must fall on the Protector to step up to the plate, which takes the story to another level completely. It's a mix of spy thriller and sci-fi adventure all rolled into one.

I cannot wait to check out the next book, of which I hope will do a very similar number on me as The Resonance.

Fabulous stuff.

The book continues with the capture of Sam and Ellie by Al Nadir. Can Sam remain quiet as he is forced by Salim to watch Ellie being tortured by Sabena? Will they be able to save Earth from destruction? Can Aby-Od help planet Earth?
The Resonance is the third book in this fantastic thriller series. Talk about being taken on a rollercoaster ride, this book was amazing! If you like an action packed thriller, then this series is definitely for you. I highly recommend this book.

The author cleverly weaves into the story another overlapping battle between Good and Evil in the parallel world of the Kudamaz, which works well. I am looking forward to getting stuck into the next book, ‘The Refracted’ soon.
