5.0 out of 5 starsThese Granny Stella stories are delightfully down to earth tales.

Every character seems to have many gifts and flaws. Stella and Manny are good examples of friends growing together into a deeper relationship. The resilience, vulnerability, evolving and honest personalities have me wanting to read more.
I love all of Ms. McKevett’s books with Savannah and Granny Reid. I have read everyone one of their books and this one doesn’t disappoint! Great mystery, one you can’t put down. If you’re a Savannah Reid fan, this shows you how she learned so much from her Granny to solve mysteries. A wonderful read...
5.0 out of 5 starsThe adventure.of Granny Reid continue and are.as.exciting as those of her granddaughter Savannah just in a different locals with additional characters and a young Reid family.

Granny Reid does it again. She helps the sheriff solve another unusual crime for.McGill. We also get to see.the Reid children when they were young. The apple.doesn't fall far from the tree. We.can tell Savannah is very much like her Granny Reid in that she is a great investigator. Unlike in real life both of them always get their man or woman.
4.0 out of 5 starsThanks, G.A. McKevett for addressing a hard issue

I really appreciated the drawing back of the curtain on a very real problem in America. Brava! After the events of the past month, I am glad I read this book. But also sad, knowing that we are in a dangerous place.
