This is such an AMAZING book and Ivy once again quickly draws us back to high school to learn more about our main characters. Don't want to spoil it for you. This rollercoaster ride full of emotions continues where it left off from Book 1 Empire High Untouchables and once again leaves us hanging and waiting... You won't be able to put it down but that is how all of Ivy's books are, amazing!! For those of us who have patiently been waiting, thank you Ivy for this ride. Don't ever quit writing. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

I just finished EHE and OMG! I've read so many of Ivy Smoaks books but the Empire High series is now officially my favorite! This book is everything you're hoping it will be and more.. I don't want to give any Spoilers so I'm just going to say that its Amazing and that doesn't even do it justice! Ivy definitely out did herself on this one! I absolutely loved it and can't wait for the next one!! ❤
I cant get enough of these characters. Ivy is phenomenal at making the story seem so real. I literally binge read this book at my job every spare second I had and finished it the same day it came out and cant wait for the 3rd book to come out so I can find out what happens!

Ivy is one of my favorite authors! You never know what to expect with her books, and this one is no exception! You go through all of the emotions in the best way possible! Can't wait for the next. Also loved the personal message at the end ❤
Brooklyn's been spirited away to live with...a monster. Yep, he says he's her father, but she knows even if it's true biologically, he's not her dad. And then she finds out she'll be living with the #1 mean girl at school. Could her life get any worse? The short answer - yes. A LOT!
Because there are things going on that are going to push Brooklyn to the very edge. Will she snap? Does she have what it takes to get through this? Can she make a decision between the 3 guys in her life? There's #TeamNewGuy (I'm firmly on this team btw). There's #TeamFelix. Hm, the jury is still out on this one. Then there's #TeamMatt. I gotta say, last book I was #TeamMatt because he shows potential. But in this one he folded. He had so many chances to make things right, to do things right by Brooklyn, and by my account, he didn't do anything but sit there time and time while she was treated horribly. So I'm #TeamNewGuy all the way. We'll see if he ends up being the one. I have a feeling...well I won't spoil, but let's just say nothing is set in stone, and after that freaking fracking cliffhanger, I'm all on edge waiting for the answers!!!
For a series with nothing but some teenagers running around being teenagers, I am oddly into this world. Well, not oddly, because it's the prequel to one of my favorite book couples, ever (James and Penny from The Hunted), and this author can write a phone book and make it interesting, but normally I'm not into teenagers being their usual dramatic, self-absorbed teenager selves. But the characters in this world are layered and complicated and fascinating, especially Brooklyn. So actually I think I'm #TeamBrooklyn and I just want her to be happy. Who she ends up being with, I don't know, I just want her to make it out alive, happy, and well adjusted, after having to deal with her new, crazy reality. Can't wait for the next installment, is it coming soon??!!
5.0 out of 5 starsI am so confused as which team am on . .#MATT #FLEIX OR #NEWGUY BUT WHO CARES I AM HOOKED

from the beginning this book had me! I am totally for #TramMatt at the beginning then #TeamFelix after he changed for Brooklyn then BOOM we are introduced to #TeamMiller aka #NewGuy! Brooklyn is lucky to have 3 guys fall at her feet even though she feels invisible. I am warming up to #MrPruitt how he is slowly opening up to her about his relationship w her mom. The part when she came down the stairs in her mom's dress and he was blown away LOVED IT!!! Now lets get to miss PSYCHO . . I thought was crazy in the #TemptedSeries but that is nothing comparted to her younger self. I am convinced that Brooklyn's dad is a #mobboss of sorts. The ENDING BLEW MY MIND AWAY. I can't wait for January for the next book!!!!! I can't wait.
Thankfully the release of this book came when I was off from work and was able to spend my day of leisure reading this amazing book!!!!!

What can i say, another great read from Ivy Smoak. Loved it all the way through, (never smoked so much reading this book). i am not one to give anything away apart from it's a must read, gotta love Matt, but i fear for Brooklyn in the 3rd book, so roll on January for the Empire High Betrayal.

Yet again Ivy has me on the edge of my seat. January is just to far away. I need to know what happens now. I suppose I can survive 3 months. There have been books that I've had to wait years for, so 3 months really isn't that long. I know that it'll be worth it.
