1.0 out of 5 starsTerribly shallow

I thought the blurb sounded good but believe me, don't waste your time or money on this book. My review will have spoilers. I am all for strong female characters in booms but there was absolutely nothing redeeming or strong about this one. She is so promiscuous because she was hurt by one guy?! Really? That's pretty weak time actually. I don't know anyone who has not been hurt in at least one relationship. So she has a bad experience and turns into a complete b*tch? Lame. Unlikeable and underdeveloped. I havent disliked a female character in a long time as much as i disliked this one. Alex is sweet but the story is predictable.
5.0 out of 5 starsAwesome Read on So Many Levels!!

Lexie is a public relations natural, but also a man eater... She doesn’t mince words with people or clients. Born and raised in Australia she loves music and a band called “Power Station”. Through a twist of fate accident she meets the lead singer and later the group. Now the group is needing help finding a replacement warm up band and new PR representation after the old PR firm leaks information... Lexie is already drawn to the bass guitarist Alex Stone from seeing him perform with the band before. The characters in the story are so real... you laugh at them and want to cry when it’s sad... and it’s only the beginning ... loved this story .. incredible start!!

A Twist of Fate was a fantastic read!
Lexi is a strong minded Aussie girl who takes no crap from anyone. She is thrown a curve ball when she witnesses a car accident and rushes to their aid. She soon learns that the person she saved is related to the lead singer of her all-time favorite band, Power Station. She cannot believe it!
She soon meets Alex a member of Power Station and they fall… hard. Lexi has issues with committing to someone as she had been hurt before, she later finds her rules that she set are fading and she is falling for Alex. Her world is then flipped around and she finds herself with a fantastic job opportunity and living in New York looking after Power Station’s PR work.
This book was such a refreshing read, once I started I could not put it down. I first thought it was going one direction then it took a turn I didn’t see coming and it was the best turn it would have made. I fell in love with all the characters, I love Lexi and her smart mouth I want her as my friend to back me up and to just say it how it is. Alex.. just yum! I had a good laugh in some parts and could feel what the characters did. There are some great steamy scenes as well.
I cannot wait to start the next book but I think I need to catch up on a good night sleep first. The thing I love most about this book is that it doesn’t leave you hanging. T. Gephart you have done a fantastic job and I look forward to reading more of your work.

What a fun and spunky read. Oh, and steamy!
I was overjoyed to have a strong female character who was intelligent, independent and didn’t measure her own worth on what men thought of her. She breaks entirely from the pathetically passive, shy, insecure, 17-21 year old women that are portrayed so often in romance novels. It was quite refreshing! The story is very entertaining and the characters are adequately developed. The language gets a little vulgar at times but it’s not excessive or trashy, and it’s in context. Overall, I loved this book.
The book was a very fast and easy read. Although it's a series, there is no cliffhanger! Thank you T. Gephart! I quite enjoyed Gephart’s writing, although the book is in desperate need of a good editing. I found numerous right spelling, wrong word scenarios, grammar issues, and missing punctuation. There are also some formatting inconsistencies, i.e. using italics, intention and dashes for text messages sometimes, but not at others. I knocked one star off the rating for it, but it won’t stop me from reading the next book. Actually, I'm really looking forward to the next book!

First, I want Lexi to be my best friend. She is amazing!!! Her spirit is something that is missing in the female lead roles in books, film and life. I loved her non-filtered way of speaking and not afraid of the reaction of others. Down side...as always, you never see what is right in front of you and the past is the past, not everyone will repeat it.
Alex. Yes, pure sex!! To envision this man was a great pleasure for my imagination. Alpha male, yes it is there. Kind, sweet and oh so lovable, yes it is there too!! Down side....as always, you never see what is right in front of you.
The rest of the characters......OMG!!! As much as I want to take Dan out back and shot him...he would be sooo much fun to hang with. James and Han are amazing and wonderful!!! Matt, oh sweet Matt....he needs to be bottled up and sold with a major price tag for more men to be like him.
I have already downloaded the next two books that are available and without reading them....I look forward to the third.
A Twist Of Fate has been lingering on my kindle a while but 'fate' drew me to it and I'm a happy little lady for finally reading it! I loved every single character and I now want to be a Power Station groupie! Lexi is a girl after my own heart...I loved her feistiness, no BS attitude and damn, the girl drinks vodka Martini's!! Now moving on ladies to the delectable Alex *sigh....he's hot as hell, I'm needing to get my 1 clicky finger out in order to reunite myself with this fine specimen. He will charm the pants of you ladies (you have been warned) and then you'll fall in love with him. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, it's a read, deserving of more...love love loved it! The sex is HOT....the banter and one liners will make you smile and belly laugh....Lexi is my new FBF (fictional best friend)....oh and did I mention Alex?? *swooooon T Gephart is an amazing writer who writes with emotion and wit with relatable characters...seriously if you've not yet read it...I have one word...REALLY??
Addictive, hooked is two great words to describe how hypnotized I was by A Twist of Fate. I was completely hooked and loved every minute of the book. Alex is super sexy and absolutely brilliant. He is so arrogant at times but it makes he so interested and Lexi definitely believes he’s something. I loved how they keep their relationship and secret and they is a lot of she wants, she doesn’t, she wants and so on and so on. Lexi is really confused and never thought she would have feeling for someone again like she has feelings for Alex. It is truly amazing the way these two as a couple work so well together. I cannot wait to read the next instalment as I’m sure things are going to go smoothly for these two even though they have confessed their love. Love it! Brilliant!
Lexi works for a PR firm in Melbourne Australia. She is successful, independent, no nonsense female that doesn’t do relationships; just sex. When she wins the contract to represent an American Rock band, Power Station, she meets Alex. Their attraction is magnetic. However Lexi wants their relationship to be secret. When Alex wants more Lexi's emotions go into melt down.
Story: Fast moving interesting relationship story.
Characters: Strong detailed and interesting. Particularly Lexi who’s strong will and energy shine.
Writing style: Easy to read, direct style that moved swiftly along keeping my interest.
Although this story was predictable I enjoyed the read. For those who like feisty female characters you won’t be disappointed with this.
Hot rock stars abound in this. I wasn't sure about Lexi- she was supposedly a strong heroine, but I thought she had a fair few hang ups, ruling her life in other ways. She was also incredibly outspoken and rude, something that would be a total liability in a PR job; that jarred a little with me, particularly when she told us how good she was at her job so often. All that aside, the set up at the beginning worked well and the sex scenes were hot. This story kept me pleasantly entertained for a few hours anyway.
