I love being one of the group as I read the adventures of these 6 people, I own all 111 books and because Axler is a pen name, many different writers contribute making every book have a different flavor. The themes are imaginative and fun.

In this story Ryan must rescue his son from an old adversary. This book also gives the reader some more information about the mysterious redoubts. As it turns out there are others who also know about the redoubt and how to use them. This is also the first time that Ryan encounters some truly dangerous advanced/100 year old technology in the form of security robots designed to kill. Overall this was a good story I thought that it was interesting that the author chose not to use most of the other characters in this book for most of the story. if there is one problem that I do have it is what happens to Ryan's companion in the story. Overall this is a good story and if you like this series you will like this book.

He gets taken by a pack of Russian slavers to work in a salt mine. I will always remember this work because I read it during a tornado(don't ask me why). Very enjoyable and defienatly of the top 5 deathlands books.

As he attempts to retrieve his son from the evil clutches of the Russian Major-Commissar Gregori Zimyanin the stone cold Cawdor runs into a new threat from the old world. Action at every turn of the page in this adventure, a must read for all fans of the series.
