Identity Theft, edited by Melissa Kruger, is an easy read. Winsome. Witty. And real. You won’t find evangelical jargon in its pages. Though we can’t fully understand the answer to who we are in Christ this side of heaven, this book contains solid answers I’ve never encountered or considered. I devoured it in one day. Highlighter and pencil in hand for notes in the margins. And there are many. I was not familiar with most of the contributors but I found myself looking them up online because what they wrote was so clear and helpful.
The Gospel Coalition has provided us with a resource that would be ideal for group study. Ten chapters. 137 pages. Memory verses and study notes at the end of each chapter. I will definitely read it again. —Deb Finnamore (David's wife; joint account)
