The story dragged in the first book and now the second. The plot sounded really good and I went ahead with the second book just in case I liked it better than the first book but that didn't happen. Neither of the two books had a strong romantic relationship between the characters. There was more action than building the relationship between the characters so it doesn't seem to be a true reverse harem plus having the m/m relationship also doesn't seem like a reverse harem story. There was no heads up in the description about the m/m relationship which I disagree with. We depend upon those descriptions to give us an honest run down of the story. Just not my preferred storyline.
I would have loved this book but the author lost me with the constant repetition of the fact that the central , had curly hair and ebony skin! I get it. It didn't change the plot. I loved the characters. I was on board, but don't ruin the entire story by pushing ethnicity down the readers throat. I decided not to read the next book.
Ok so I really liked this series but I really wish when the author put out the books in the description she would put that Further on there would be m/m as the book goes on. I am all for love in any way shape or form and sometimes dont mide reading it. Other times not so much. I just dont like when everything is not in the description. So I know if i would like to read it i just go lead on and wish I had know before jumping in to it.
I really enjoyed this book, it’s well written while there were some slow points well worth the read. I can’t wait for book 3. Now about the complaint for the m/m in this book. There isn’t any feelings haven’t been brought to light yet and a kiss to exchange power isn’t m/m. So hardly worth the mention any way I do see that it will come out and is most likely why caspian is holding out on the mate bond. I can see this changing weather there will be and added m/m notation for the next book who knows. The story is awesome.
The two books that have been released are wonderful and I really enjoyed them. I keep checking to see if the last book has been released with no such luck it seems. "Queen of the Werewolves" doesn't seem to exist even though it is listed with the other 2 and this book ended on a cliff hanger. I wonder when the last book will be released or if she changed her mind about doing 3 parts and wants to leave us wanting more.
This is the 2nd in the series of 3 and it really ties in a bunch that happened In the first book. Spoiler... She finally gets a chance to mate to 2 of her 4 guys in this book. But her claims on all 4 hold strong. I did not see what happened towards the end coming but it all made sense Now to wait for the 3rd to come out and see what will happen with the other pack and the vampires as well
