5.0 out of 5 starsI loved Johnny and Stacey!

Whew! Don't miss out on this story! Johnny is a magnificent contemporary romance by Abbie Zanders. Ms. Zanders has produced a well-written book that will keep you glued to your e-reader from the first page till the last. The characters in this book are perfect for this story and made it a joy to read. Stacey, after years of ignoring her friend's calls, finally answered the phone. She not only answered but agreed to a visit. In person. Maybe a change will help her with her newest book. Johnny left the bar and took a ride on his motorcycle, he decided since he was so close and it was late to stay at the family cabin, not knowing Stacey was in residence. Stacey and Johnny's story is packed with drama, humor, sizzle and hold your breath suspense. I enjoyed this book and look forward to my next book by Abbie Zanders. Johnny is book 2 of The Connelly Cousins Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

A stand alone read with a HEA. It is part of a series but it can be read as a single. Other characters from other stories play a part but you don't miss out by not reading their story first. A young woman is badly injured in an accident and has been in a wheelchair ever since. There is a slight chance due to new procedures that she may be able to walk again. She is a successful romance writer and is pretty much a recluse. When a college best friend that was more like a sister calls her, for the first time she answers the call. It has been 5 years since they have seen each other. She agrees to come and visit and spend some time at their mountain cabin. She has had writer's block and maybe the time at the cabin will help her regain her mojo.
She is at the cabin and decides to get in the hot tub for a while to relax after the long flight. Since it is a little hard to get in a swimsuit, and she is in the middle of no-where with no one around, she just goes in au natural. As luck would have it, her friend's brother, Johnny, has been out on his bike trying to unwind and he decides to stop by the cabin and spend the night rather than go back home. You guessed it, he finds her in the hot tub. She can hardly run when she hears someone in the kitchen so she just ducks down and tries to stay out of sight. This guy is like a homing pigeon where a pretty female is concerned. He drops trousers and is in the hot tub before she can say, Why don't you join me? These two are two of a kind at heart and it isn't long before he has her in his lap.
Things take off from there. There is a lot of getting to know one another for the next few days. Then the drama starts. This is a good love story. I really enjoyed it and so far, Johnny is my favorite hero. The sex is hot and heavy so if that is a problem, be advised! I would definitely recommend this read. Hard to put down.
I was not paid for this review. I am not an author nor do I know one. I am not kin to this writer. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 9/30/17

A stand alone read from a series with a HEA. Jamie has proposed to Celina. However, his brother Kyle steps in and marries the girl and now Jamie is heartbroken by the betrayal. This is a very short read and leads to Jamie getting his HEA once he realizes that he never really loved Celina to begin with. She was perfect on paper.
It is not until he experiences emotions and feelings with Amy that he realizes fate saved him from a very wrong move. Amy is not only perfect for Jamie, she is in love with him. Their story is short and sweet. Jamie learns some very valuable lessons from a group of romance writers!! They play a fun part in their story. It was a light easy read and I would definitely recommend it. The sex was a zero, so it would be okay for any age group.

This story is actually quite disappointing. I've read all of Abbie's books and Salienne Dulcette is a very well known character throughout the series. She's featured in every story in some way which gave me high hope as to how her story would be. Unfortunately I was just left feeling disappointed. Abbie Zander's features strong women in her books but the story of Stacy deviated away from that. The entire story felt like a poor me, pity story. It was rushed, lacked the chemistry that most of the other books had and was mediocre at best.
As Ms. Zanders says, these characters are real. This is a great series, with wonderfully different storylines/issues. I eagerly await the stories for Nick and Tazer. Ms. Zanders , is it possible that Mr. Conlan or Seamus and Erin have been whispering to you? Or maybe Keely's great great grandmother(which could be a crossover with your Historical books)?

Such an amazing story these two, Stacey and Johnny, such true life and death experiences, being a nurse I truly believe that someone in a coma can hear family members talking to them and believe it helps tremendously for everyone, thank you Abbie, Dana
Annie Sanders writes the best stories. She will have you laughing, crying & sleepless in every book. Her characters are believable & she will make a cheerleader out of you by the end of every single story!!!!

I just love Abbie Zander romances and have adored all of the hero's and liked all the heroines. I would recommend this and all Abbie's books to those of us that like alpha hero's with a heart and strong women who are made for them. Michael Connelly is my next read. Can't wait to start.
5.0 out of 5 starsBrilliant story line not to be missed

Another winner for Abbie, Johnny was everything you would want in a man. Stacey was the soul mate which he didn't realise he had been waiting for till they met each other. More twists and turns but great reading, could not put the book down.
