WIN continues the story of Gwen Lark, her family and friends and all the rescued teenagers as they arrive on Atlantis and are faced with the overwhelming task of settling into a new life on an alien planet. None are challenged more than Gwen as her initial happiness is crushed and she has to prepare for the fight of her life, for her life and the lives of all those, she loves.
My words, as a reviewer, are not enough to describe the beauty of this book as it gently rises through heartache and despair all the while describing the wonders and contradictions of Atlantis. The protagonists deal with love, loyalty, devotion, integrity and courage and fight despair, deceit, betrayal, hate and prejudice. WIN has the power to to make your heart race, your breath catch, your mind boggle and your spirit soar, as it literally races to its conclusion.
But the story is not yet done, and we are left with the hope that right will prevail and evil will be undone in the battles of the final book of the series, SURVIVE, coming next.
