OMG, I don't think that this could get any better than it was. I'm just completely miffed that the next book won't come out until April 2020!
I can't imagine how horrifying Slaine's torture must have been under Aoifan. And, while I probably should feel sorry for her falling under sway of the mastermind behind everything, I don't - she deserved everything that she had sown.
While I wasn't surprised at the villainy revealed in this book, I didn't expect the quite the upheaval of everything that was caused by the villain’s treachery.
One question that I do have, after reading this, is what are the other pantheons doing during this? Do they honestly believe that this will be limited to just the Seelie Sidhe? Or, that once the Seelie falls, the villain will be content with only then turning on the Unseelie Sidhe? Also, can’t Seb deny power just as easily as he gives? What if he drains the villain of the stolen power?
