Are you in need of a wonderful love story? How about a love story of unconditional love and forgiveness? How about a story of not only unconditional love and forgiveness, but a dash of humor as well? In Seaside Letters, it is an online romance taking the wrong turn of mistaken identity, or is it? Sabrina has a past, one that Tucker is tied to, and she is hopeless in love with Tucker. Every morning she serves him coffee. Every morning he tries to muster up the nerve to talk to her. When he meets a woman online, he wants Sabrina to help him find this elusive love. Sabrina is now in a dilemma, because that woman is her but the picture she sent is her cousin's. Sabrina has had her heart broken before and had committed a great sin in response. Now she is afraid. Afraid that Tucker will find out about what she had done and her heart will be broken again. Can she truly believe that Tucker's love for her is unconditional? Is forgiveness really in her heart and in his?

Wonderfully told as a subtle parable to Jesus' love for us,Seaside Letters leaves you teary-eyed and keep you dreaming of happily-ever-afters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Forgiveness

Learning to accept yourself as you are and understanding that Christ accepts every one of us just as we are is the major premise of this book. I loved the hero. It's not easy to love someone who doesn't feel like they are worth loving or who has unknowingly hurt your family but he was able to work through that. I loved how the heroine was able to go on a journey of forgiveness and accepting that she was worth being loved despite her insecurities. I loved that she was able to get past them and have something beautiful come out of something so broken. I loved the secondary characters too. Renny for letting go of her fears and taking that leap of faith and Arielle for being a bigger person and getting out before before she hurt her cousin.

This book is a Cinderella meets You've Got Mail story.

Oy! What a mess this girl has created for herself! I loved the premise of the book...the boy and girl meet...they start corresponding by email and fall in love...he tries to get her to admit it is her so they can live happily ever after (You've Got Mail...right?). The technology lingo was a little behind (they emailed as if they were instant messaging), but it was cute if not a little Meg Ryan syrupy sweet. I also liked the message of forgiveness, and pursuit of God. But to be honest, I was a little uncomfortable with the alcohol and infidelity in a Christian book...this is something I would have expected in a Sophia Kinsella or Emily Giffin book. I understand what the author was trying to portray...but it just did not fit within the character she created in Sabrina.

Overall, it was a good book, just not as good as the first two Nantucket books.

I loved this book even before I read it! The plot line is so wonderful, but it becomes more so as the book progresses. It was indeed, like another reviewer mentioned, like the way God pursues us, and knows everything about us, but still we are so silly and afraid and untrusting. I loved the heroine, who was full of doubt and fear and guilt and I loved the hero who was full of love. He gave me a warm feeling of strength and safety. And I loved how protective he was of her and how careful. When I finished this book I cried and thanked the Lord for treating me exactly like that, for not caring about my failings and for waiting for me patiently, when I was too scared to trust in Him.
The secrets, the misunderstandings and the letters - they were all part of the most beautiful love story.

I really needed to be reminded that GOD does forgive. I also have turned away from Him in anger and disappointment. Thank you for this wonderful book.

Reading this book is like curling up on the couch to watch a favorite old movie. In fact, this book reminds me of The Shop Around The Corner, or You've Got Mail. I love the characters, and I love the theme of forgiveness. God can forgive us of anything, and is willing to give us another start. I loved how understanding Tucker was. I loved that he was willing to be so patient and that his love for her was so steadfast. A great book.
