It was wonderful to visit Silver Bells, Colorado. Abby at the request of her best friend, Lucy, is heading there with her son, Christopher, to help Lucy's grandmother recuperate from a bad fall. Abby is still grieving the
tragic death of her husband two years ago. Trying to put it all behind her she is planning to relocate. She wants to go somewhere that people don't look at her with sad eyes and she can start fresh.
Ethan is Lucy's brother. Both Ethan and Lucy had a tumultuous upbringing. They were bounced around between parents until Winnie stepped in and brought them to her home. Neither of them feel they could love or be loved. Ethan is drawn to Abby but is afraid he would only hurt her. Jose, Ethan's best friend, has been in love with Lucy for quite some time. When he makes his declaration and tells her wants forever with her she is stunned. She tells him she is not a forever kind of girl.
With the holidays approaching much is going on at Winnie's fabulous house. Will the holidays spark something in each of these individuals? Can they each get over their past and move on? This is a heart-warming Christmas tale that is sure to put a smile on your face as you turn the last page. I loved it!
