5.0 out of 5 stars Forgive Me...

I know that I should have written reviews on the first three books of this series, but just like reading a good Baldacci novel, I could not stop. So I went through them all in order in just a couple of days. Another Baldacci trait, when I completed this novel I felt a shadow over my soul. I WANTED MORE! WHERE IS THE NEXT ONE!
I cannot see anyone being disappointed by any book in this series but would suggest reading them order. That is another plus; the words connecting each book were not long and drawn out as is often the case. Give them a try, I think you will enjoy them, even if you are not as crazy as me and actually go to bed at night vs. reading these until the sun comes up and then being a Zombie the rest of the day.

5.0 out of 5 stars A pleasure read.

I have read and re-read all of the author's westerns that I could find, he is the best that I have found since Louis L'amour and Zane Grey. I have read and re-read both of those storytellers many times. Mr. Robertson is as entertaining and satisfying both of these icons of western literature. This tale relates the struggles of a man to recover his identity without it becoming an obsession and finding a new life in the old west.
Read Forgotten Season and enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Outstanding Western Novel That All Will Enjoy

By far the best western adventure novel that I have read this year. I've enjoyed all of the Logan Family sagas but Forgotten Season is the best so. far. Mr. Robertson is such a gifted author. He certainly paints a vivid emotional picture with his words. Henry Remington endures so much pain yet never gives up. There is so much love and romance without being lurid. Of course there are lots of exciting battles that all western readers expect. I also appreciate the fact that Mr. Donaldson knows his firearms unlike many current western writers. There is so much more I would like to say about this book but I don't want to ruin a magnificent story that all western enthusiasts should read. I can't wait for the next Logan Family Western.

FROM BOOK ONE ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE FINAL BOOK 4, THE LOGAN SERIES WAS EVEN MORE CAPTIVATING THAN THE BARLOW SERIES. MY ONLY REGRET IS THAT THERE ISN'T A BOOK 5. I TIP MY ATWOOD TO DLR. YOU KEEP WRITING AND I`LL KEEP READING!!! SIGNED, GEORGE ALAN KELLY, FELLOW AUTHOR. PS-IT AIN`T BROKE, SO DON`T TRY TO FIX IT!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best book I've read in this genre in years.

I have throughly enjoyed all the books in this series. I'm not much at writing reviews but this is the most I've enjoyed reading an author since I first read all the works of L'Amour, Ralph Compton, Terry Johnston, and WW Johnstone. Honestly couldn't put the book down until I'd made it to the finish.

From the beginning of Logan's Word I was hooked and having finished Forgotten Season, am so glad of these 4 books. Each of these books were such interesting with the story and character development, and beautiful scenery, (which in my mind I was there), which speaks volumes for this author. Thanks for an enjoyable ride.

I thought this book was just like the ocean waves. Each chapter was the high and low of each wave. It was so carefully crafted. I was so pleased that I went ahead and ordered every book by the author. My only disappointment was that I have to wait till the end of the month to read the next one in the series. I'm hoping that he writes another book in the series about Kate and her adventures.

I've read all four of the Logan's and did it day after day until I finished the series. I started to feel disappointed when I knew I was coming to the end of book 4. I hope Mr. ROBERTSON Will continue on with many more books about the Logan's as I feel there is a lot more that can be told about them. An excellent series written by a fantastic author.
