2.0 out of 5 stars Who even is she?

So I read the first book and enjoyed it just fun. It was a light read and it was fun enough. I decided to cut it some slack considering it was so cheap whoever the second book I am not as thrilled with.

The main thing I so very much dislike is that the author forces two characters to be together and it based purely on superficial things. I like how the character gets upset that others are creeps when she herself is as shallow herself.

The second thing is how fast is this supposed to go on for? If I understood the story right the first book took place in about a week. So in a week she went from working a normal job to becoming a princess? In the first book she was written as the person who came from normal humans and not knowing how to act or talk in this new kingdom. In a week she says "dear one" to the maid. Who talks like that?? Who says "little one" to her younger sister while all the while hoping she will end up with Azrael?

In a week she went from hating someone to thinking that she loves someone. I can enjoy these light reads just fine and I like having them as fillers while I wait for my main authors to release new books but this one was just to full of clichés and cringey writing.

It could have worked if there was a sense of irony or self-awareness but I can't read that in the book. To be honest I got 33 % into the book and I read that awful line when she says "Never apologize for showing your feelings, dear one". It is just so weird for her to say it. It does not fit the character. I realize I am ranting but this is such a pet peeve of mine.

I am giving it two starts because of the first book and that it sold at a fair price. There are other books with a similar premise that does it better I feel. I might finish this book one day but right now I just annoyed seeing it in my library.

Still a good story that could use more, also has errors that need to be corrected, the main character was a little less in this book and some was predictable. Still a good read while still being short. Hope this gets rectified in the future because this truly could be more since the story is unique or was more so in the first book.

I really enjoyed this book, even a bit more than the first one. It was intriguing and fast-paced. We got to know more enjoyable characters and got to see them form relationships. The editing was better and some answers were addressed that arose from the last book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Seems like a filler book

I feel like nothing exceptional really happened in this book. Yeah there was a retrial and meeting of new characters but it ended pretty expectedly. Even the final scenes seemed almost predictable with Nija wanting to wage war.

I’m still going to read the last book because OF COURSE I want to know how it ends.

I Loved the story line. I do not like how the covers do not match the description of the main characters. He has dark skin and hair. She has red hair.

The end of the last book made me hope for a happy
beginning... Rowan admits that he manipulated and
deceived her into leaving cause he wanted to be with
the other chick. She relied completely on his looks.
Allowed herself to be belittled, demeaned and
the character is happy with verbal abuse.
Have a damn backbone and self respect. Always trust your instincts. She should have ended up with

3.0 out of 5 stars Still at Three and a Half-ish Stars.
Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2019
Although the second book in the series has a better flow and more action, I’m still coming in at just under four stars. My two main reasons for this are the extraordinarily douchey lines thrown out by Rowan throughout the book, and the numerous grammatical and spelling errors. Get an editor. It’s that simple, get an editor. One book full of errors is forgivable, but two is not.

Now, for what I like: the storyline. I really like this storyline. It continues to pull me in despite the many nit-picky things that get on my nerves about the characters. I know it seems like I have a lot of complaints about the book but the bottom line is that I’m still reading. I’m still excited about the storyline, and I’m invested in what is going to happen.

3.0 out of 5 stars Better read

Okay this was alot better read than the first ...there is a little more action in this installment. Do think though that somethings could be explained better than they were, like when she brings her family over to the Fae realm , not explaining were she had been who she is and they all get on with it ! Eden a little bit whiny in this and Rowan you would expect a bit more back bone after all you are King !

Absolutely loving this series, completely new storyline’s that I haven’t read before which is refreshing! Was hooked from the first book and finished this one in a day; now onto the final book! However, i do feel like the Faewild
Hunt could have been elaborated more but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
